Install or use a malware program, you probably have been compromised. You might try deleting Epic after backing up everything then reinstalling Epic. Make sure you have a good connection when you reinstall.

Epic shouldn't install any register manager files. Our installer Omaha, the same that Google uses for Chrome, does makes some registry entries but they should not have any effects on opening pictures or anything else. You can use a registry entry tool to delete any entries Epic's installer made without too much difficulty I believe. Not sure what happened?! Please also only download Epic via epicbrowser.com. Using an anti-virus or anti-malware software for a check is a good idea as Proxy1 suggested.
