Try searching preferences/settings for cookies or enter this chrome://settings/cookies?search=cookies. There are a plethora of settings that may help. Then try this chrome://settings/content to allow changes if you haven't already. If you disable the proxy I found it is sometimes easier to make some sites work. Alternatively use another browser.

You can also try closing / re-opening Epic and or your Mac -- that usually solves these kinds of issues if the permissions are all correct / given to Epic.
