I think you can copy the Epic folder from your PC / Laptop then paste it to your USB drive.

Yes, correct.  You have to copy it from %localappdata%  (type that in a Windows navigator window to find the Epic folder).  Users report that copying that folder into a USB drive then opening Epic via the exe file works.
