Thanks for the Epic browser which I'm using on the Mac!
There are two situations where the Epic browser feels very slow, with several seconds of delay seemingly doing nothing.
First, when loading a page, the window will sometimes stay blank much longer than will Safari loading the same page. Please rearrange the way you schedule the rendering so that the page starts to fills immediately, and not after waiting for whatever it is that is causing the extra delay.
Second, there is a very long delay after the command to close the current window is given. You should instantly switch to the new tab or window without waiting to do the housekeeping cleanup for the old window which can be done in the background while the user sees the new window.
For me, the Epic browser would feel dramatically faster if these two optimizations were done.
Thanks!

Thanks for reporting this!!
We're working on update for next week which should fix that issue of the page being blank a bit long -- it's related to some debug tools in chromium. Hopefully that will speed things up for everyone!
