Are Java and Flash prohibited on Epic?

I noticed I don't have those plug-ins. Some websites are wanting them enabled.

Yes, we do allow both Flash and Java.  Java is always click-to-activate.  Flash is activated by default because it's so ubiquitous.

And Java via this link:      http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Both represent privacy and security risks -- so be a bit careful especially about Java and any email attachments like pdf files or flash files, never download them if you don't know who sent them to you.
