Epic Privacy Browser Forums

Had update v.1607 late last month
No browsers then worked EXCEPT Microsoft Edge
This includes Chrome as well as Epic
Tried reinstalling. Reinstalls OK but will not connect. Also error message saying 'Epic video downloader has crashed'
Is there an updated version of Epic which will work with this latest update?
Being cynical (and realistic?), is this Microsoft 'forcing' you to use their Epic browser which I don't trust?
