Epic tries to establish a secure connection to websites. Most websites, however, don't support secure connections. If a site isn't loading, set to "No" then retry.

Apologize for the inconvenience, these are the alternative steps you can follow to get the epic going.
1. Download the "OS X zip" file from the link: https://epicbrowser.com/thank_you.php
2. Extract the content of Epic.zip, once you extract it, you will get epic.app
3. Replace the old epic.app at the Applications folder with the new one.
If the above steps didn't work then please provide us with detailed information about the system. OS version, Hardware details.

Whenever you use the Dictionary/Spell check service, it will ping to Google services, they collects your data and which will lead to violating your privacy over online. So we are blocking the service.

If you are using the Mac, please exit the browser using the following methods,
1. Please use the Mac menu(top menu), in that Click on Epic, then click on Quit Epic or else you can use the short cut key.
2. Or Right click on the Epic icon at the dock and click on Quit option.
If you click on X icon which is present at the top left corner of the browser, it won't clear the browsing data.
After trying above two steps, still browser not clearing the history after the exit, then please write back to us with the details about the OS version.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please follow the steps.
1. Open the browser, in the address bar type: chrome://settings/
2. You will be in the Settings page, please go to the bottom of the page.
3. Click on Advanced.
4. Go down the page, here you will find Reset Epic, click on "Are Epic features not working?"
5. You will get a popup, click on Reset Epic.
It will rest all the extensions. After following the instructions still if you are facing the same problem, then follow the instructions which are mentioned below.
If you are using the Windows machine, then please follow these steps.
1. Close the Epic and open the file explorer, in the address bar type: %localappdata%
2. Navigate to Epic Privacy Browser/User Data/Default
3. Here delete the "KalpSD_Ver71" folder (When you restart the browser, it will get recreated, no need to worry)
4. Open the browser. This should fix the proxy issue.

If you are on Mac then close the browser and go the below path in the finder
/Users/xxxxx/Library/Application Support/HiddenReflex/Epic/Default/
Delete the KalpSD_VerXX folder then start the browser.
If you are on Windows:
Close the browser, in the file Explorer navigate to the below mentioned path:
C:\Users\XXXXXXX\AppData\Local\Epic Privacy Browser\Default\
Delete the KalpSD_VerXX folder then start the browser.
If above step didn't work then please provide us the detailed information about your system, OS Version, and Hardware details.

Epic privacy browser (for Windows) will automatically get updated in couple of hours, no need to uninstall and reinstall. In the newer version of Epic privacy browser we integrated below mentioned features.
1. New Proxy with the option of selecting 9 different location.
2. Latest Pepper Flash.
3. Epic Extension Reset button.
4. New YouTubeVideoDownloader extension.
