"Please try deleting the "default" folder in the Epic folder in %localappdata% (type that in a Navigator Window)."
Just to be clear, this is the pathway I am looking at:
C:\Users\MYFILENAME\AppData\Local\EpicPrivacyBrowser\UserData\Default
Is this the "Default" folder you are referring to? I just want to make sure I delete the right one. I appreciate the help.
Has this issue been resolved? I too have used Epic for years now, and all of the sudden it won't open. The icon is still there, Epic just fails to open when I click on it. I have tried:
1) opening it from the Apps list (App is there, but the results are the same)
2) uninstalling and re-installing
3) restoring windows to a previous point
4) confirming it is not blocked by the firewall
5) flushing DNS
Short of changing my IP address, which I'm not really comfortable doing, I'm not sure what else to try. Any suggestions? I'd appreciate any help, I really love Epic.
